Stock boost vs. Chipped boost on an X50 911T, problem?

Stock boost vs. Chipped boost on an X50 911T, problem?
I just bought a 911T w/ the X50 package. I was running .9bar STOCK, or what I thought was stock. I took it in to an Upsolute distributor, who read the map and said that it didn't appear to be a modified program. So, I purchased an Upsolute mod, which should have been good up to 1.1 bar (in addition to different timing, injector quantity, etc.).
I got the car back, and I'm still hitting .9bar. Low-end torque MIGHT be a little better (I can't tell if I'm spooling up faster, or if my mind is playing tricks on me). It was suggested that I change out the stock diverter valves and put in the aftermarket ones.
Question: Would the diverter valves be the problem? The stock ones aren't making noise at all, so I think they are fine. It feels as though the boost is being electronically controlled as opposed to mechanically.
Any ideas on what is going on? I'd rather this not turn into a bashing of Upsolute, because I've had nothing but good service from them. Have others with the Upsolute chip experienced at least 1.1 bar?
Thanks in advance!

achilles,
i can't comment on the ecu. but i just changed my DV's and it is a big difference. mine were not making noise as well but i wanted to change them anyway. the car is much smoother. my boost levels are sustained better. i will hit 1.0, before the change only 0.9 so i probably had a leak. i did not do it myself but it can easily be done.

Thanks for the quick response... I'm not having any problems sustaining boost, but I guess it is possible that they could leak. Maybe I'll try to change those out... which brand did you go with?

Of course, tighten... duh. Not sure what I was thinking. The stress is getting to me
Nice link Kevin. I may consider those springs. I want to fix the problem first, though, so I don't compound my error. IE, I don't want the springs to compensate for a boost lease or broken DV. I'd like to try and fix each step.
I'm going to try and put new DV's in... hopefully, I'll start boosting over 1 bar after that. If not, I guess I may have leak somewhere...

UPDATE:
I put new billet aluminum diverter valves in. No change, I'm still holding steady at 0.9 bar when I should be holding at 1.2-1.3.
Any ideas? I checked for leaks, and there doesn't appear to be any. Thanks!

You are not going to get 1.2-1.3 bars.. 1.3bar is impossible.. You throttle-body will shut down.
Crank you wastegates and you will see 1bar with 1.1 bar peaks..

Hmmm... I was already hitting .9 bar before the chip mod, and it sounds like you are saying 1 bar with software is the highest I'll get? I thought a lot of people were getting 1.1-1.2 bar with their chip mods, right?
Thanks for the input, for an extra .1 bar I don't think the chip mod is worth it, if that's the case. .9 sounds a little high for stock, so it's possible I already had software installed on my car when I bought it...

My stock X50 (bought it new) will hit .9 Bar only in 3rd gear and above. It runs thru first and second gear too quickly for the boost to build to .9.
If you can see .9 in the lower gears, I'd guess that your car was previously reprogrammed. Let us know. AS

I plan on putting the "stock" program that my Upsolute dealer had saved, back onto my car. I will compare that to what I had with the Upsolute program. Will keep you posted...

I'm planning on trying a more "aggressive" upsolute program tomorrow. I just changed out to the aluminum diverters. Tom, do you have the Upsolute program? I haven't seen anyone actually hit over 1.0 bar with the program yet...
