Arrow Need Help: Bought Used X-50 and Really Need to Raise Suspension Height

I just picked up a 2002 X-50 with only 1,800 miles on it (previously driving a 1999 996 Coupe). Wow, what a difference!

My car has H&R springs and European Porsche standard shocks. A picture of the car is provided below

<a href="http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*&id=1050971322-005357" target="_blank">http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*& id=1050971322-005357</a>

The car is too low for downtown Chicago streets and I find that the front lip of the aero kit scrapes every so often. I would like (a) to raise it a little bit, (b) still have it lower than “stock” and (c) not have a rough ride. The ride from the H&R springs and European Porsche shocks is great! Below is a picture of a car that has the ideal ride height for me.

<a href="http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*&id=1050971498-005359" target="_blank">http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*& id=1050971498-005359</a>

<a href="http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*&id=1050971428-005358" target="_blank">http://hobbystage.net/porsche/media.cgi?site=dimitry&folder=*&group=1&page=*& id=1050971428-005358</a>

Does anyone know what I could do to my suspension to raise it to this height? Would replacing my H&R springs with European springs be a good idea?

I think your car looks perfect as it is:
you need to move!!!

A PSS-9 would allow you to vary both the height and stiffness.
Alternatively you could get the M-030 set from Porsche to meet your objectives.

What is a PSS-9 and how much doe they go for?

Also is the M-030 the European Suspension from Porsche? How much would this lower the car from stock?

I had H&R springs on my 2001 TT and they were a bit too low - I dare not put them on my 03 due to the front painted lip of the aerokit!
I just ordered a PSS-9 suspension and will let you know how that is. I am more concerned with ride height than cornering and handling!
Also, the H&R springs alone are a bit of a rough ride - I live in Boston and the streets here are very bad (especially with many budget cuts going on).

Msindi,
that is exacly my concern as I also have an aero-kit and it scrapes on bumps with the H&R springs.

How "trully adjustable" is the PSS-9 ride height and stiffness? How is it actually adjusted, do you needs tools and a garage, or can you pull over to the road and do it quickly? Pardon the ignorant question, but I am admittedly new to these suspension issues.

PSS9s are REALLY bouncy i heard thats the worse thing you could do to the car if you ask me... i would opt for H&R coilovers

I'll make you a good deal on a set of stock suspensions, that should raise you an inch.

I live in the Chicago area and have the ROW springs and shocks on my 02 Turbo, haven't scraped yet in 6000 miles. It's lower than stock and rides a little stiffer, but not objectionably hard.
