Very interesting. I think my car has passion. Not quite like a Lambo or Z06 but it's still there!

All german cars seem to head the same direction these days. Look at the evolution of BMW M3's from raw and uncivilized to fast and calm, and somewhat remote. Same with M5's, same with 911's, same with 911 Turbo's. I felt the increase in passion and sportyness recently when I steped out of a very nice 997C2S and into my 996 X50....You could feel the evolution in the platform. However, when you get to know these modern cars, and start to really drive them a lot, it all makes sense. 996 Turbo is a brilliant machine...and it's a very passion filled beast for me.

Listen! I am a regular on Pistonheads (UK) and Porsche Club GB and don't even go there regarding this tosser Clarkson. I plus hundreds others have gone on about this and we are sick to death at his constant ****ty reviews (especially Porsche) It was proven about 6 Months ago when Hammond and May (other 2 presenters in Top Gear) out voted him with a 3 car shoot out, with the winner being the new 996. The guy is alright as a presenter, it's just his constant crap reviews on cars.

I think he gives a good review, makes the car seem awesome. The guy is a former f1 driver and has the Top Gear show in UK where he drives every dream car you could imagine, he says the 997tt cant be touched on the road or everyday - that's what you want, reliability and FAST! His personal taste is that he wants to be topless in a lambo - I wouldn't mind that either, but if I'm going to own something over 100g - let it be a porsche!

I believe their test driver, The Stig, is a former F1 driver.

F1 drivers, even schumie or senna, are not necessarily the best review of street cars.

i continue to wonder why anyone would listen to clarkson?
