Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Material
To all of you that wanted to try and make your own Wire Mesh grills. I have the material. It’s Stainless Steel Wire mesh 3/16 spacing using 1/32 wire (Just an estimate).
I can get you any size up to 48" wide.
Minimum width is 6 inches. It is very expensive. If you want a smaller piece I will have to cut them, the price is $25.00 for a ½ square foot.
(6x12 inches) Plus shipping.
E-mail me if you’re interested.

Timster,
The screening we used on the 935, GTP & CanAm is stainless and comes from Pegasus auto racing.
Much more reasonable in cost - if you are looking for an alternate source....
Approx-
$34 for 24x36 inch sheet or $19 for 18x24
check out the link :

Just happened to stumble across this discussion as I was searching for stainless wire mesh for a grille and I figured I would throw a source out to you guys and gals.
I just searched high and low and ended up using Belleville Wire Cloth
http://www.bwire.com/
They had the exact stuff I was looking for, it was delivered on Monday via UPS and it is now painted, cut, and ready to be fastened into place! Looks great.

I'd like to try the Barbecue grill or maybe the razor wire for starters.

I did a couple DIYs on this a while back... GrillCustoms actually sells nice powder coated material for this job and it's not horribly priced.
