HELP! How do I remove "Armor All" from my Dash
Anybody know how I can remove Armor All from the inside of my car? I took my car to get it washed inside and out and told the guy don't armor all the inside. Well needless to say they Armor All'ed the crap out of the inside of my car. They did'nt even do a good job so now I have sections with no armor all and sections will some. These fools even put it on my stereo and A/C buttons and displays. Now every piece of dust is sticking to my dash like a magnet.
How can I remove the Armor All?
What can I use to get a nice clean finish that won't attract dirt, dust, hair, etc.

You might out of luck. I don't think there is much you can do to remove the stuff. I'd take pictures of the interior just in case you need to pursue getting the detail company to replace the damage.
The leather on the dash is specially dried so it will not suffer from the heating/cooling expansion/contraction cycles the dash is exposed to. The leather is prepared very differently than the leather used on the seats. By introducing any moisture into the leather you're defeating the objective Porsche had when they took the trouble to remove almost all of the moisture from that dash leather.
My car is 4 1/2 years old and I have never put anything on my dash...and it looks brand new.

Tom, USE AERSPACE 303. It is for UV protection (I'm in CO remember). I have used it for years and it works great. It is not a conditioner, so it does not make the leather more supple...just protects it from the sun!

I don't use a damp cloth, just a dry microfiber cloth.

" Unlike other "protectant" products, 303 does not contain silicone oils, waxes, glycerin or petroleum distillates. 303 leaves a like-new, non-oily, anti-static finish that does not attract dust.
Interior/Exterior: Vinyl & leather Interiors", "Finished leather: Upholstery, motorcycle leather, trim, tack, fine apparel"

1) 303 is water based and that will introduce moisture to the dash leather.
2) The leather they are talking about is basically "soft" leather. Soft leather has much more moisture in it. It is generally the kind of leather that's intended to be used where the leather requires "movement", and it is not the same kind of leather Porsche uses on the dash...which is not finished with "movement" in mind.

Dock...I'm not going to argue with you. I live in Colorado and our UV is much greater than in GA (we also get more sun days). I have used the product for years without any problems and I know it has saved my dashes! To each his own.

First try a damp microfiber cloth. Armor All is water based, therefore should be dissolved in water, at least to even out the shine. I would use some leather cleaner to clean it if the damn cloth doesn't work. Then you can leave it unprotected or use some 303 wross has said, its great stuff and the UV resin they use is equivalent to SPF 40.
