funny you say that Marty cause I feel the same way... I really cant see what I would do with 3400 pounds if I had 10-15mph higher speeds in some of the longer straights. The car factory is probably fast enough for the track. The real hp and torque is much more obvious on "street adventures!"

Trying to figure out the "NEW" braking points can be a little interesting to say the least!

Tom,

Thanks, I will do my best! When you mentioned getting little return from mods when used as a daily driver, I thought "Man, I get so much enjoyment from my mods every day". I can tell from your posts that you love the track and are really enjoying your track time. What a great arena to explore the limits of the car. Be careful and have fun. What's great about these cars is that they are fun wherever you run them - street or track.

Take care.

That's only because the person that was driving back with you didn't partake... He was chicken since he see's troopers all over that road all the time... 140 is a hook up to a tow truck and impound plus off to jail most likely...

It is so subjective to say when a certain hp level is enough. I am afraid to say I am getting very use to the GT700 and would love another 100 or 200 hp, but I don't won't to add the bigger turbo's and associated lag that go with them. I also do like to track my car on occassion and the quicker spooling turbo's are better for that as well.

My car is daily driven and brings me tremendous joy!
