Default Wart removal

How difficult is it to remove the bumperettes of early 996tt?
There are after aftermarket replacement plugs, correct?
Cost?

Thanks so much

Front......or rear?
Both leave a signif size hole and there's no good 'plug' for either.....but on the rear, a good body shop can fill, paint & clear.
.....and buying new replacement bumper is plan B in either case......a 'Search' will give you more.

I believe the company/product you are thinking of is www.bumperplugs.com
Eric is a great guy and rennlist sponsor. He makes the plugs to fill the 2 holes for a front license plate (amongst other great products).

Technically/legally, you can not run with a Euro (no rear bumperette) rear bumper, as it would not pass the DOT 5mph (mandated bythe insurance companies) impact test.
Originally the front 'warts' were installed for this purpose, but then removed, as they were not needed for this test.
Stupid test IMHO.....

Some people have simply purchased a new nose, others have tried to have a body shop fill in the front holes...

thanks for the info...I noticed that Bumperplugs will paint them for you if you ship them off...might be easier $$ than a new bumper.
