Bobby, since you have the second generation I think you should be fine also! Have fun let us know how the car holds up. Its always good to share info with others that are regularly tracking the TT cause it does bring up certain issues our non tracking bretheren dont have to deal with!!!
Just curious, with the GT3 on the way, what are you going to take to the track then?! I was leaning toward the 997 GT3 myself due to some technical difficulties with the TT at the track!

Alright guys just spent a couple of days at Watkins Glen with the Turbo S and ran on street tires (S02As) and PCCBs with standard pads + SRF brake fluid.
Day 1 - Rain all day. Wet track. Slower speeds. Car performed beautifully. No issues.
Day 2 - Dry track. Much much faster speeds. Hard braking. PCCBs performed flawlessly. Immense stopping power. No fade. No issues. The SO2As get hot and greasy very quick and I had to bleed air after each run to keep hot psi in the mid 40s.
Good times. Ran with an assortment of fast cars...'Vettes, Porsches, M3, etc. they all saw my tail lights
Next event I'm probably going to run on MPSC and the Green P50 race pads.
Cheers!

My experience with the PCCB's (Gen 1) is a couple of laps warm up with progressive heating and a good cooldown they are the bomb - invest in the GT-3 front air ducts also - it will aid in cooling them during hard braking. I got 67,000 miles and 6 DE's on the first sett of pads. I have 31,000 and 4 DE's on the second set.
