On the twin turbo, you have to remove the bumper cover, part of the fender liner (just the rear section), then the intercoolers and heat shields, then you can get to the plugs. Pretty easy, but have someone help you get the rear bumper cover off if you like your paint. The NA is much easier. Should take you a couple hours. If you need a DIY, PM me i can guide you through it.

It took me about three hours the first time I change my plugs. After doing it a few times I'm down under two hours now.

If you have big hands, it's a tougher job.

Yeah I just take the exhaust off, the inner fender liner, the heat shield and then do the plugs that way. Kinda bad for big hands...

It is faster to pull the bumper then the stock exhaust.

That must be easy to do on your car Alex as your exhaust is generally off anyway

I am going to try mine tonight, I got a print out from the dealer and was even more confused???
Confusion was due to the fact the dealer papers says to remove rear "spoiler" first.
The rear "spoiler" is what most of us call the bumper! LOL. Any special tools needed,
like to undo any clamps? please advise if you know. I think I will remove rear bumper method.
How about the heat shield, can it be removed without bending it? I heard that is the challenging
part. Oh, the dealer said 7 hours!!! LOL.

Hehe it sure is easier.. the other unique thing about my car is I don't even have to take the inner fender liners out since my 335's burned a nice access hole straight through so I can get my arm into where the coil pack is lol!

How you been pal? How's Florida treating you????!

Yeah but then you were saying the ICs have to come off and so on... Dunno, I like doing the exhaust way... As long as you have a lift that is....

Nah, 5 bolts and simply pull the clips. Takes 2 minutes to pull one intercooler. Just don't bind the hose and you are good to go. Pulls right out.

Ok, here is a quick write-up i did from memory. It isn't perfect yet, but will give enough of an idea of how to do the job. Next time i do some plugs, i will take good pictures and make sure everything is exact. I didnt bother resizing pictures or anything so the file is about 1.68 megs and is a word doc, so it will take a minute to load. Anyone can feel free to pop in with additions and i will make the changes. If anyone has some pictures of the intercoolers on the car, i will add that, as it will show some bolt locations. Anyhow, supper is on, hope this helps out a little....and no i didn't spell check it yet....
