Possible New Turbo Owner - Few ?
Looking to trade my 04 C4s Cab in on an 02 Turbo.
Car has 5,500 miles (red/tan) and dealership is asking 89.9K. I was thinking it should be closer to the low 80's. Thoughts on pricing?
Any reason to steer away from an 02 and hold out for an 03?
Thx a bunch.

I'm assuming the car has is Porsche CPO warranty, so that's worth about $2500.
Any particular/Exclusive options which may have caused a higher original MSRP which may make them ask for a higher price?
Mid 80's for a CPO car, assuming it's exactly what you're looking for, seems reasonable.
The MY01-MY04 changes have been discussed here many times.....02 was the debut of the glovebox, early 01's had solid spoke wheels and front bumperettes (warts), etc.
MY02 sound systems were copper wire/analog based systems, so upgrading components is very straightforward.
MY03+ sound systems were based on the MOST network (plastic fiber optics connecting headunit to amp to CDChanger and back to amp), so upgrades basically involve replacing everything......don't know if this matters or not to you.
Best of luck,

I looked at that car when I was up there the other day! It looks fantastic! Do you already have a salesperson? If not, let me hook you up with my buddy. He's a personal friend of mine, so I know he'll take care of you.

Park Place. Car already sold...back to the drawing board again.
THX for all the help. Looking forward to making the move from the 4s to the turbo once the right car arrives.

Saw that one too...something always worried me about that place (I spend time in TX). Cant quite place a finger on it. Hope I am wrong, they have some very nice cars there at good prices.

What in the world worried you about Park Place? lol Their new store is the nicest dealership I have EVER set foot in! If you're ever in Dallas, I would suggest making a trip to see it. Amazing place!

Looked at several cars from that dealership before bought mine. Although car seems nice and guys on this forum vouch for dealership, they always seemed a little high. That price would have been ok for a heavily optioned car, if more basic that would IMHO been high. Although the real bottom line on these cars is find the car you really want and then the price should be secondary (within reason of couse)
Good luck, I thought the 02 for the price was the year to go for although the CPO is a real bonus!!
