Kiko,
Haven't you found an exhaust yet

I think that used Kreis-sieg Titanium might still be available for $5,500

Thank you Shark but still too much money to spend on an exhaust, I know how good it is and the new price and probably its not expensive but still... too much money. Just for curiosity where is that exhaust? Is there fotos of it?

Thanks again...

PM Sharkey (Alex), I don't have the pics anymore.

The problem is even the scruffiest 996TT exhaust is $3500. The only thing I've seen cheaper is a B&B LeMans, which can be had for $2k new. Also, there is a set of GHLs on e-bay for $2k, being sold by Gemballa.

Or if you are a DIY kind of guy, I think that used partial Fabspeed for $500 is still floating around.

If the videos and dyno work out, I'm probably going to go with the 9ff........or just start saving for a Ferrari 348

I wouldn't do Titanium on a turbo. It just won't take the heat.

No kidding about that price. The ss model is $ 7,000.00 cheaper though!

Here is a link to the exhaust:

Unless Kreis-sieg changed their design, they supposedly tend to crack over time:
All other factory and aftermarket units are either two-piece or have flex-section
in middle, to allow for flexing. The Kreis-sieg sure looks and sounds beautiful though...
I love my PSI quiet! just right !

Marty....are we EVER going to see video of this exhaust in action

Actually, in my search I've found several 1 piece designs and I don't think they are prone to cracking.

In the case of the Kreis-sieg Titanium exhaust, I found out that they do have problems with cracking and have recently re-designed the unit. And they now try to discourage street use....they recommend track use only.

Another thing I found with Kreis-sieg, a guy that did a before/after dyno on a Diablo lost 100 HP in the closed position (gained 25 in the open). He is sending me the dyno sheet. Very curious, since 9ff uses a VERY similar design.

I need to see if any of the local Colleges offer Masters degrees in Exhaust Design......I would probably qualify for the degree now

Shark, yes my video is at my buddies house (we did fly by's in his Carrera GT and my car when it
was a PSI loud. I will try to post (on new thread) in the next few days. Maybe one piece will work fine, I was just sharing what I had heard, it certainly is a work of art.

Hey guys, I just wanted hit two points for your PhD work.

a) K-S design for the lambo and 996TT are *totally* different
b) the position of the valves are different as well btw 9ff and K-S. The K-S valve is actually pre-cat, while the 9ff is post cat.

Hence, in the closed position, the K-S WILL go though a cat that it does not in the open position. With the 9ff valve, the exhaust gas goes through the cat whether the valve is open or closed.

Happy Studying!

The 9ff importer Eurocar Boutique have posted some videos on the site

http://shop.eurocarboutique.com/996_...ust_P63C87.cfm

Whether you are interested in the exhaust or not, the vids are really fun to watch, and they do a good job showing how the sound changes as its switched.

The sound really reminds me of a Cargraphic exhaust.

I heard the exhaust last Friday when Meka (Eurocar Boutique) install it in his car, it was awesome! This is the 2nd generation (2 pieces) model.

I tell ya, if I was in the market for an exhaust, this would be it.

Ok, just heard a fabspeed "loud" I may be getting old but it sure doesnt sound that loud. and at idle you can heardly hear it!!
Soooo......I still say since price seems to be the biggest compliant, and the more hp the better, go with the fabspeed cats and a straight pipe. Fabspeed make the straight pipe so your stock exhaust bolts right on!!!! Cheapest, most hp, way to go!!! And no CEL's or melted airboxes.

Does this price still apply for their 2nd Gen exhaust?
