Or if you have the Stage II, you can dial back the wastegate (actuators)... takes but ~5 minutes. Of course, with the manual boost controller, once setup, you can simply use it to dial back boost.
I'll go on by saying that when I was venting to atm, sometimes, I could hear the bov venting even at part throttle (no lifting)... leads me to believe that the signal line for the bov/diverter valves also have some sort of signal modification by the ecu. The only reason I think of this is as some sort of over-boost pertection... think pop off valve.
Anyways, if anyone has a manual, trace the path and see if there's yet another frequency/solinoid valve between the bov and manifold... if there is, I'd like to bypass that as well.
