Question throttle response

I'm interested in speeding up throttle response/ decreasing Turbo lag in my TT X50 as I miss the instantaneous response of the N/A car what would you recommend as the best options to do this.

Thanks

air filter and DVs top the list...
100 cell cat exhaust helps reduce turbo lag too by reducing backpressure

Best bang for the money, and improving throttle response. Pull the K24's off and install a set of GT1's turbochargers. You will make boost 450 RPM sooner and pull as hard as the K24's..

Remap the ECU to level IV...Ask Pierre about the difference. Lots more timing down low to help get things moving along with more boost. Boost controller will keep the wastegate closed longer since boost request is higher. All of these things will add big improvements. Seriously, find PierreTT and ask him.

Donny...........Curious DonnyJ, what N/A cars are you comparing to?......993 or 964?
If so........just my opin but, biggist contributor to slow throttle responce (and inability to 'blip' ) is E-gas.

I believe that you are reffering to turbo lag. I asked the sime question to the forum time ago and the possible solutions were: a) headers wrapping or ceramic coating, b) Europipe/Fabspeed,etc..exhausts , c) Boost controller, d) ECU remaping. It seems that the turbochargers can also make a difference.
I don't know what is the difference in turbo lag between the X50 and my "normal" TT.
At the time I was very concerned with turbo lag. I have to admit that once I got acustomed to it I adapted myself to this new ( at the time) situation. It's not anymore a concern neither when travelling or when tracking.
Here is the thread . ss https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ight=turbo+lag
