Hehehe just thought i'd share!
ah its been such a great week, much good news, and then out of the blue one morning the dealer calls, apparently they never updated me when the car was in production, or being invoiced,etc.
but now its a LONG 20 days until delivery!!!

If they gave you the VIN number, then companies like http://www.2wglobal.com/ track the car by that number. They shipped my V70R.

thanks for that info, didn't find my car on that, so mabye they used a different shipping company, however
that site did provide some good info, also, judging from the schedules, it looks like it only takes 15~ days to cross the pond instead of the 20 or so i thought it to be.

*sigh* things like these make me question,
when is porsche going provide the service and quality to REALLY back up their prices...
and the argument of "small/focused company" -1. cant be applied to porsche anymore, and 2. is irellevant in the service/retail industry.

I'm just curious, and off topic, but is that avatar your mechanic? I live a very sheltered life in Utah, aside from my daughter (she's 5) I can't think of another girl that knows what a torque wrench is.
