Too funny...when I was 15, I was into baseball and music and.....programming, gaming and hacking on my Amiga 1000. I am now into golf and music and......IT support, ROFL. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I don't think I'll ever stop being a very competitive person, I just decided not to act on it in everything I do. For me its been a great life change.

i don't race anyone on the street so i only care about how my cars feel to me
the 98 evo 5 is quick and fun and tossable but not too fast to drive around town. And i can take my kid to school in it and run errands in it even though I just had it shown in the Amelia Concours a couple weeks ago lol
the evo 9 is the E85 bigger turbo built drivetrain "fast" car to blast around in and at the drag strip
the 996 is the happy medium, fun on the road course, squats just enough, but also drives extremely well around town/is obviously well-built.
if i cared about just being the fastest in a straight line i'd just get a plaid and call it a day

Plenty of modded 991's 992's that run with / pull away from the Plaid. I've driven one at full charge and they are impressive, but would never go that route.
The EV thing brings on more that just straight line "hate"....lol.

How's your 996 doing? Gonna do Cars and Coffee or Tioga in a couple of weeks?

and i don’t really care for EV performance either but with launch control and all sorts of other stuff and dct it’s not like a gas car is altogether hard to drive these days
which is why i keep buying 90s-2000s ****boxes lol

a plaid runs a 9 flat, it’s cool a high hp gas car will pull away at high speeds but you just hop into a plaid and run a 9 flat and are untouchable to 100 on the street, comfortably, reliably, for a fraction of the price

Haven't seen any 9 Flats from a Plaid. Plenty of 9.2's and 9.3's on full charge on prepped tracks but not on the street. Mostly 9.5 - 9.7 on street.
I dove one myself with almost full charge and 9 flat wasn't possible.
Recorded the whole experience.

I'll just stick with my forklift; that's enough motive electrons for me.

Burning Brakes
Everytime I've ridden in a Tesla and we did pulls I got a bit nauseous. Weird sensation of speed + no lag or engine noise.

Three Wheelin'
I rented a Tela 3 for a day just to try and I felt very bad while driving it, of course there were accelerations and also normal driving but I continually had a bad feeling... . really strange???
