I have a 2002 manual Black with Natural Brown leather with the deviating black on the bottom too. The deviating black makes a big difference

For PTS cars are you able to find what the actual paint color is? I noticed for my VIN it just shows Paint To Sample, but not the actual color which is Amulet Red. It would be nice to know if there are any other PTSs of the same color, but I doubt it.

How many of you, after seeing this data, are now looking at your cars differently?

I most certainly am; prior to this data, I thought there were 60 - 70+ cars configured like mine in NA, when I learned there were only 7, it is making me think it is a little more special than originally thought.

I always considered mine special and bought it specifically because of the options it had but seeing the data on all of them is very cool.

This data didn’t do much to make me see my car differently, but the current prices on BaT certainly has.

Meaning that you think the prices are high? I still think of them as very undervalued? To think I could buy two very nice 996tt's for the price my old 993 would sell for seems ridiculous to me.

No, prices are rising just as they have for earlier "collector" models.

Given time the 996TT will be of similar value to the 930 because the 930 and 996TT were produced in similar numbers. The 964 and 993 Turbos will always be worth more because they were produced in far far fewer numbers than the 996TT and 930.

Agree, I think the 996TT is one of the best values to buy right now, heavily undervalued and their time is coming.

This spreadsheet data is amazing!!

Ive spent some time playing around with the amazing document.

Im not afraid to say my EXCEL skills are lack luster I can not figure out how to search/filter the VIN YEAR SHEETS for specific build options. Ive learned you can filter the other columns for like EXT color, INT color, transmission ….

The creator of post document states the each years VIN sheet can have three options selected under the light green cells. It’s not a dire thing esp. if its not something obvious but any guidance appreciated.

The top row of the three green columns should allow for the input of an Option code that pulls data from teh build sheet and displays it in the column. It's a simple (although somewhat rudimentary) way of determining the frequency of not only one option, but up to three at the same.

Input "450" into Cell Y1
Input "X50" into Cell Z1
Input "XAF" into Cell AA1

Then you can filter for all cars that came with PCCB, X50 and Turbo Aerokit.

I do intend to improve the interface, and some users have already reached out to help me with that. I will be in touch soon!

Unfortunately, there is no way to know this for free. Some effort can yield the colour names, provided there is enough data for the car. Some listings only indicate "Yellow" when it may actually be Ferrari Yellow. To be honest, I never really looked, but if somebody wanted to run the VIN's and take that on...
