I'm guessing it's nowhere near as bad as a 360 Modena where we hear horror (to many of us) stories of $10-30k per year.
I don't think it's as good as Acura NSX's Accord-like maintenance requirements.
What are usual costs of maintenance.. throughout the life of the car?
How about any mileage-dependent/time services?
Thanks in advance.

my 15K dealer service was quoted anywhere from $450-$700 depending on the dealer (I only checked factory authorized dealers).
The major components of this service are:
1. Oil Change & Lube
2. Air filter Change
3. Pollen Filter Change
4. Read computer and clear all faults (after fixing them, of course)
5. Change windshield wipers (including rear)
6. Top off fluids
7. Thorough inspection of vehicle
Since all of these items should come to no more than around $250, I'm guessing that the extra money is for the complementary car wash.
I wound up negotiating a deal for $425 from BH Porsche, as they normally charge $600+. They did this for me because I rose holy hell about a previous service issue that was not handled well.
I could have taken it to my independent shop where I get my mods done, but that little dealer stamp in my maintenance book will probably pay for itself when it comes time to sell the car. I know that I personally would value a car more if it was factory serviced.
FYI: "major" service is every 30,000 miles, and includes everything in the "minor" service +
1. replace spark plugs
2. more thorough inspection, especially of internal components
3. inspect & replace poly-rib belt if necessary (it should NOT be necessary)

Trojan Man, not too bad... pricey service though 15k but mileage-wise that's about 2 years of regular driving so $250 a year ain't too bad.
Alexander, nothing but oil change in 2 years and 22k miles?
Anyone else with service experience? How about turbo stuff?
Thanks again.

As I've posted before, the dealership gave me 4 new Conti's when the Pirellis suffered belt shift after a track day. Fully mounted and balanced, my cost was $0. Since I got free tires at 6000 miles, and the Contis still look good, I've had no tire expense.
After the 15,000 mile oil change, the mechanic called me to tell me the oil looked dirty, and suggested it be changed sooner. So, I'm about due now.
Otherwise it's just gas (averaging over 18 mpg) and wash. So, I'd say the car cost me about $200 more per year than the Honda Civic I bought for my daughter. That will clearly change at the major service, next year. The service manager told me to expect a clutch at 40,000 miles (I'll be surprised if it doesn't go farther). Fortunately, and I hope I'm not setting myself up, no mechanical problems. The dealership did order a new guage cluster (not yet installed) when I had a 1 second glitch on an oil pressure reading. AS

Clutches are a bit more. Not replaced one on my TT, but have on other Porsches. Seems like it was a couple of grand or so. I was did the clutch in conjunction with other stuff so cannot really recall specific prices.

Clutch wear is inversly proportional to driver skill and care. Properly driven, a TT clutch can last well over 100K miles. Its no different than most other manual shift cars. Well... except that if you REALLY launch it, there is enough power to wear the clutch very fast.

The maintenance is high compared to other daily driving cars. Also, things covered under warranty are not the normal things that require maintenance.
I spent over $500 to have the oil & brake fluid changed. Also, the 15K service is going to cost $600.

Plugs......I think it was discussed once before....anything over 25,000 miles and you're probably sacrificing something.
Plugs is a biggy too.......I think the manual says something like 5 shop hrs....a bit like a 993.
