First modification I made to the car was to remove the assist. I was pretty embarrassed on my initial test drive with the previous owner and I've had manual cars for 20 years.

I'm getting my car back soon from having the GT2 conversion installed. Can't wait.

ok then if you still have the stock help spring your clutch is as heavy as mine. I been told it feels like a GT3RS clutch. I just noticed that my non assist 996 C4S clutch is so much lighter then the Turbo now where it used to be the other way around.

The heavier clutch feel of the GT2 setup is perfect when driving aggressively or semi-aggressively, though a bit of a pain in the *** during rush hour stop-and-go traffic. I personally could never go back to the wonky, inconsistent stock hydraulics. I have a full factory-style GT2 conversion as well as the GT2 clutch pedal spring.

Default Spring

Sorry to hear that, wished youd contacted me so we could have fixed your issue. The spring sent was the one I bought from BBI, but had this one as a backup. Hoping you like the system works.

Just got it installed, it is much better now. I actually can't tell it it was done anymore it feels normal like my 996 C4S clutch but a tad heavier.
