Hi, all:
I'm desperately trying to find snow/winter (or even all season) tires to fit my 2001 911 Turbo. No luck so far, especially with the size of the rear tires.
The current summer tire sizes are:
Front: 225/40/18
Rear: 295/30/18
I can get new rims, if needed - just really want this for year-round driving (and we live in Alaska!).
Thanks so much for any & all help...

Isn't there a Michelin dedicated tire for those rims?

Yeah, that sucks.
Just checked tirerack and there is nothing listed.

For winter tires go with these sizes.
215/45-18
275/35-18
215/45-18
275/35-18

Porsche recommends 225/265 for snows. You want to run a narrower tire as you can in snow.

I'd also wait until next fall. No reason to buy the tires now and have them sit around for 6 months, plus there will be far more tire stock in the fall...

I run 2 different sets for the winter. 225/40/18 265/35/18 or 235/40/18 275/35/18. the 225/265 is the combo I used years ago that I keep as a backup/spare. The 235/275 size is easier to find.
