What's the colored substance on your gloves?

dock, IDK...? some type of residue. This morning the tips of the filter element were white?

i didn't think to get the camera out sooner. The gloves were fresh out the box when i started to inspect the internals (bright clean orange).

idk....what it is...you have any ideas?

So the white is where the filter has dried out?

I don't know, but would hazard a guess that it's the result of a chemical change of the filter surface. If it is, then the question would be whether or not the current surface of the filter offered the same flow resistance as the original surface.
