fuel door won't open

Thank you so much Carlo. It's funny, I've got three of these 996's and have never realized that the fuel door locked when you locked the car! I'll try the lock/unlock method and see if it jiggles loose. If not, I'll get into the inner fender liner and see if I can find that pull cord. Thx again! Cj
