ah, the beauty of south florida.....
recently have had repeated sightings of a BMW Z1 parked here in miami beach. i thought these were only for import for 'show and display' use only....this is a red one with a euro tag on it and a FL one next to it. interesting....

also saw a red 993 slant nose Turbo S - on a flatbed headed north on 95 monday morning. great looking car - pretty rare as well, right?

Never heard of a 993 based slantnose. Perhaps a custom job or a 964 Turbo S slant nose (flachbau) ... now that is a rare car indeed.

ya know what - i stand corrected. after looking at the link, there's no doubt that was it was. the 964 turbo s. it DID say turbo S on the tail (yeah - i know - anyone can put anything on the tail...) but the 968-ish headlights is what caught my eye. still could have been a custom job, but i'd guess that down here, its real. great looking car.

Yes it is Red, I don't believe it was flatbeded tho it did arrive either Monday or Tuesday....where did you see it and what direction was it heading?? Guy lives in Miami and we are in Pompano...

i saw it 95 northbound on the truck monday around 9am between miami and lauderdale - just south of the 95/turnpike interchange i think. its gotta be it.

They should put the Carrera GT light assembly on the flatnose of the 94 TT S flatnose. It would then be worthy of a 998 designation.

evan - nope. i'm out on the 7th. have another set of visitors from the midwest that have now 'booked' that weekend here. i MIGHT be able to meet you guys before you depart and blast up the road a few exits just for kicks...but not all the way to orlando, darnit.....

Just came home from my bosses house...yes it was flatbedded at 9AM Mon. so you saw the car . Our shop is working on it to get it ready for the meet make sure everything is running right!! Its stunning in person!!
