I called and talked to the dealer - based on the call and the price I would have purchased it if I did not have already have one
I hope you get many trouble free miles of enjoyment out of it
There is an episode of Wheeler Dealers that Ed services a Tiptronic Trans on a boxster that you might look at
It could just be the Pan Gasket - I hade to replace a leaking one on a 2001 Boxster Tiptronic that I had years ago - paid $400 at a shop

My 02 turbo has 299,000 km. Can't wait to take a photo when the odometer hits 300,000 km

Congratulations on the purchase.

Congrats. Likely a lot of freeway miles, which don't induce a lot of wear. You have Pink Caliper Syndrome, I see. Several solutions for that...

I have been hunting to long to find the right deal to bother anymore with a ppi...lol. I rolled the dice and bought over the phone. I have the extra 6000 that i saved to dump into it if need be. but i had to pounce. turns out there have been a few people that have looked at it on scene, and they confirmed (after i bought it) that it looked really good to them as well.
