Living with a High Mileage 996TT
I am the new owner of a 2002 996 Turbo with 172000 miles. This is a 2 owner California car, with the second owner having it from the 11000 mile mark. The second owner put approx 162000 miles on it. Now I have it.

I have over 100k miles, my hp adding set up is tune, intercoolers and exhaust (i run a 100 oct race gas tune sometimes as well as a pump gas tune), plus tracked the car 14 times in the last 12 months on r-comps.
Do your maintenance, stay on top of things and refresh what needs to be refreshed before you dive in and these things are fairly bulletproof.

Congrats on the purchase.
I purchased mine in 2005 w/ 20k miles. Sold it with 97k miles, very cheap (to a friend). It now has 110k miles from what i'm told and still running strong.
Tracked dozens of times and new owner tracks as well. Very strong cars.
