Barely warmed up. I'm so envious, it's not even funny.

I think these are great cars, except that if you get a bad one or don't take care of it, it could put you in the poorhouse. Aside from that, you can hedge your bet on the bad gas mileage (especially in town), by investing in oil stocks.

If you have Macster's old car, hearty congratulations are in order!

I think that it's much higher than that.

Didn't someone post about a car with over 500K miles on it? I think so. Now it may have cost the GNP of Liberia to keep it on the road all those miles, but I think it is definitely possible.

Well then you won't have to worry about the 2nd gear popping out.

Doesn't make me feel as bad for having 87K miles on mine.

Congrats on the car.

[QUOTE=nelsontod;14920810]I am the new owner of a 2002 996 Turbo with 172000 miles. This is a 2 owner California car, with the second owner having it from the 11000 mile mark. The second owner put approx 162000 miles on it. Now I have it.

[/QUOTE

Nice pick-up, I stopped by and looked at that one a couple of weeks ago for a DD. Even started looking into how much a built Tip would run.
Did they .over much off their ask?
