There was a forum post I read somewhere about a guy routing his battery tender harness up through a pop-out in the cowl covering, and he mentioned an added bonus is that the quick disconnect would just pull off if he ever forgot to unplug it... Easier to connect, easier to disconnect, still disconnects if you forget, and only cost a few bucks.

I use a battery tender and a hardwire harness, but I pop the frunk to charge. I might try to route it as described above instead...

OK, I put some kits together for now. I have 50 sets of connectors but I only have 4 CTEK trickle chargers in stock.

I will provide-

CTEK Battery Charger (Multi US 3300)
Connector to the battery with about 7' of wire to connect to the car mounted magnetic connector.
2 spade connectors to be crimped onto the wire
Magnetic battery charger connector already soldered on and ready to go.

You will need to mount the two wires to the battery. Each wire had a round battery eyelet connection which should make this part easy.
Decide where you are going to mount the magnetic car connection and mount that into a 1" hole.
Cut the wires to that length and crimp 2 spade connectors on the end of the wires.
After that your job is all done.

PRICE FOR THE COMPLETE KIT AS I DESCRIBE IT HERE-
$199.00

If you are interested in using your current trickle charger and want to just buy the 2 magnetic connectors and do the kit yourself (it's not very hard to tackle yourself if you have some experience)
PRICE FOR JUST THE MAGNETIC CONNECTOR-
$59.00

We do not have it on the website yet so please feel free to give me a call and I can get it out to you right away.

PRICE FOR THE COMPLETE KIT AS I DESCRIBE IT HERE-
$199.00

Im familiar with the Porsche tax, but damn...
The charger is like 70 bones and honestly a 30-40 charger is fine.

Is there really a market for these at this price point?

the only reason I could see a need for this, is if you have cars on lifts for storage and want an easy connection when overhead.

I could also see it for cars where the cigarette lighter doesn't stay hot when the car is off. On our cars, though, the cigarette lighter works for me.

The charger is $76.00 and the connector is $60 if you buy it separately. We solder the connection on the charger and then I solder and shrink wrap the other side to extend the wiring length of the battery side of the connection. I put it all back together and package art again. I would not call that taxing the customer because he owns a Porsche, I call that making a small profit to cover my time to make and market the product.

I know it's not for everyone but I definitely would not think that I am gouging people with the price. The customer does have an option to buy the connector from us on its own and do the work themselves.

I have a solution.
Drive your car so the battery doesn't die.
