Which seems like a real bargain as his Rolex Daytona just sold for $17.8M!

I hope it goes directly to an enthusiast and not a dealer.

Seems like 90% of the GT2s were silver, so a black one is a rarity. The miles are crazy low. If were here in LA at a couple different dealers, the sticker would be $189K. Selling price? Who knows.

I think that was Paul Newman's Rolex.

Two of the three recently sold ones above were black over black...

proving only there are things i will never understand. because given my tenuous grasp on both life and money.. i could see paying 2 mil for that 930 so could live more dangerously. but a watch!?! lol.

add:.. yeah, feeling that might've been p.newman's watch as carlo said? but it matters not. still nuts. i did bump into chad mcq at the market the other day lol. i'll have to ask him next time.

Carl is a great resource. I believe the '02s were all silver, but it's great to see there are other colors out there. So I should hold on to my future lottery winnings in case a Zanzibar shows up... LHD, hopefully.

Hi,
Any idea what an Euro 996 GT2 Clubsport,2002, Guards Red, black interior and 60000 miles is worth? I suppose the high milage will lower the value a lot?

Probably in the high $80- low $90K range. Can you describe what differences "Euro" and "Clubsport" have vs. garden variety North America-delivered GT2?

haven't watched the market lately but has there been a non-disfigured 5-figure GT2 sold in last 3 years? year or two ago there was a heavily damaged (engine about where backseats would be) and sold for 70-ish IIRC...
Clubsport = $
-nomex seats, fire extinguisher, cage
