Air conditioning, how cold does yours blow? My AC performance would get a C grade, nothing like the ice cold air that our Camry delivers.

Not really a problem, the cabin is small enough to work with merely "cool" air. Was just wondering if ice cold was possible. My old Suburban never blew really cold air either. Diagnosis is complicated by the blend door air temp management used on newer cars, need to be sure the system isn't adding heat rather than a poorly working Freon system.

Mine works great. Super cold.
@ the OP, are you sure both radiator fans are working?

Good point, I will check tonight. They were both working back in December when I replaced the LF radiator. I just did the RF & center ones last week, so I better double-check myself on re-connecting the plug. Seems to me the AC worked the same last year however. Our summers are pretty mild here, plus its a cab so no big emergency for me, just wondering. While I'm at it, I think I will measure the temperature diff (cooled / ambient). Thanks for all the input.

Mine works superbly, but I also redid my entire AC system last year after the compressor seized... New compressor, evap, dryer, condenser, o-rings, fresh charge, etc.
It also worked pretty darn well before the rebuild right up until the time the compressor went. Scared the crap out of me, when it seized, the belt started to slip and smoke as well as the rubber compressor wheel, smoke was pouring out of the engine cover. I thought I had an engine fire for a moment.
I don't think compressor failure is particularly common on our cars, but it does use a pretty standard Denso compressor so as common as any other car using that same compressor I guess. I probably didn't have to flush or replace every component in the system, but was afraid of contamination and didn't want to do the job twice.

No foam, but I have only had it a year now. Always a CA car so I'm hoping the duct work is still intact. I noticed the other day the indicator window does not show if the middle or lower zones are active. The control buttons do direct the air properly, time for a new LCD window I guess. At least that fix is cheap.

Top tip with automotive AC is that they run the coldest when then are filled to the bare minimum of the "correct" pressure range.

Mine works well. A few months after I bought my car, I noticed it stopped blowing cold. Took it to my local shop to have a look. Sure enough, a small rock or pebble punctured the condensor (sp?) and we lost all the refrigerant. Since it was caused by road debris, my insurance picked up $800 of the $1050 tab. Works great now.
