Does it show a P (program) or L (logic) on the display, even when not detecting something? I paid no attention when I was checking out your car ;-)

I honestly don't use it all together that much - I sort of forget it's there most of the time.
It's at Black Canyon, a local shop here, right now and I asked them to see if they can find it while they're doing a few other things to the car.

Same, I get K-band false every min. The most likely cause that I can think of is another car with blind or rear spot detection. It happens around the newer model cars more than anything else.

Then it's definitely there somewhere! If the shop doesn't locate it, bring it over and I'm sure we can track down where it is mounted...

Or, you can disable the K band altogether:

I live in CA, where both X and K aren't really used, so I disable both of those and get nearly 0 false alarms (the occasional laser false alarm comes from automatic cruise control systems). Ka alerts are 100% bogeys.
If you're in CA (or anywhere else where it's not used), disable POP, too.
My V1 is pretty old, but I haven't felt the need to upgrade after configuring it like this.
