Default What SHOULD Come with/in a 996 Turbo (Books etc)

Hi All,

Trying to make sure my car came with all the original books and tools. Does anyone have a specific list/pictures of what should be included?

My second question to this is does anyone know the correct way to store everything that comes in front trunk?

That's really helpful. I'll check to see if I have all of those - might have some missing...

As for the trunk items - is there a specific way all of that is supposed to go into the trunk? I have all those items, but they all just seem thrown into the spare tire area haphazardly.

Thanks,

Unfortunately I am not sure. I guess everyone got his way...In my case the pump is on the floor beside the spare. Same thing for the jack. But the tool bag is in the middle of the tire..... I saw this picture on reenlist, another way....

I wonder if that styrofoam insert would fit our spare?

I think this is the part# 996-722-101-00 (strange a 996 part# ???) or 997-722-101-00

OUCH!!!! 997-722-101-00 is $561.18 but the 996-722-101-00 is only $59.50 ???? Strange.....

996-722-101-00 is same P/N as my 2003 NA cab. I am going to see if it works in the TT. I have a feeling it might not. But, if it does, I will purchase one to tidy-up the frunk.

If the car came with PCM, there should also be a big PCM manual (I think it's thicker than the owner's manual ).

Every model year there seems to be subtle changes to the brochures and the set up of the spare tire . What are the correct manuals for a 2005 turbo ( I have also seen 05 supplemental brochures for hardtop and owners manual)? What is the correct arrangement of the pieces and parts that come in the spare tire compartment? Did every car come with a tire inflator and a jack bag or were these supplied by individual dealerships dealerships? I do not seem to have the beige colored jack bag. Are these hard to come by? Where can I get an original one?

Did anyone ever try the 997 spare setup in a 996 TT?
