There has been a long running thread over on the earlySreg started by Chris Tallon: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...3-All-Variants It was a prime motivator to learn more about these cars and in turn lead me to start searching for one (and eventually buying one) a little over a year ago.

Time for me to give back.

I've spent a few cold weekend days running through color data on these cars to build a complete exterior and interior color database for every 996 GT3 sold in the US (PCNA) and Canada (PCL). Here are the results:

Nicely done!
Would really like to know how many of each still 'exist'.
Been a decade+ and these cars were for the most part originally bought to be driven and usually hard.
Mine is one of the 32 total...

I do have 2 of the 3 VINs for the PTS cars that may be helpful:
WP0AC29974S692776 (metallic PTS, black interior w/black belts, not sure on color), and
WP0AC299X4S692352 (metallic PTS, natural brown interior, has to be the Minerva car)

Awesome info. I think mine may be the only one with a true black over natural brown combo (there is a basalt black/natural brown out there but I couldn't find any evidence of another black/natural brown, but I have only found pics online of 15 of the natural brown cars, so there could be a few more out there).

As far as the PCNA market goes there were 4 Black / Natural Brown Leather cars. There were 8 Black / Natural Grey Leather cars.

No PCL cars were ordered like this.
