Wow, great info. Do you know how many of those four were basalt black, or are you saying that there were four of the "standard black" cars with natural leather? Thanks again for putting this together!.

Scott,

The previous numbers were for non-metallic Black.

There were 2 Basalt Black Metallic / Natural Leather Brown cars and 1 Basalt Black Metallic / Natural Leather Grey car. All PCNA.

I appreciate the request but Porsche built waaaaaay too many 996 turbos to do a similar color breakdown. It took two full days to run the 996 GT3/GT2 numbers.

I bet PCNA sold 10X as many turbos v the GT 911's.

Easily my biggest surprise. I think it was down to Polar being $2,245 more than Arctic.

That's probably the reason. According to my original sticker, Polar Silver was a $3,300 option.

WP0AC29924S692068 - GT Silver PTS, this is the RGT conversion

WP0AC299X4S692352 - Minerva Blue PTS

WP0AC29974S692776 - GT Silver PTS

I can corroborate Carl's numbers. I have exactly 1018 build sheets/VINs in my database.

From my database I add the following information to these paint to sample cars:

4S692068 natural leather grey, very early build car. Ruf Auto Centre (photo) had the car for sale in Feb 2009

4S692352 natural leather brown, custom order and it was in Otis Chandler's museum in California. A Rennlist person bought it later on.
