SL8 GT3
I nearly bought a 3k mile Slate Grey GT3 from Livermore back around 2008. It had PCCBs and I think a carbon center console. Well optioned, stock and like new. Drove up from LA to see it, seller's brother in law was there to let me test drive it. It was an interesting time (Dow was melting down) and overall it was a very funny experience, as the brother in law said it was his first time in the GT3 and I was getting more time with the car then he ever has, which was amusing. And after the drive he was really quiet, then he took a deep breath and said that's the fastest he's ever been in a car. I swear I didn't push it that hard! Anyway, I ended up choosing a highly optioned Atlas Grey car, which I've been extremely happy with, but sometimes I think it about the other car. The color reminds me of the 911 McQueen drove at the beginning of his LeMans movie. I believe that was Slate Grey as well.

I was recently between an older long hood 911 and a 6GT3. I ended up pulling the trigger on a 1970 911 hotrod and couldn't be happier, BUT I am here after afterall.

This can only mean one thing, I will be in the market for a 6GT3, some time after sorting out my "new" 911. Can't wait to add one to the stable...

Thanks for listening.

My plan was to sell the 70RSR and RTRO996 and buy the SL8GT3... Yeah, still have all three ;-)

The 6GT3 is the closest thing out there to the 911 RS/RSR, just a bit more modern and refined, but with the same intensity and urgency, not to mention the sense of occasion when you fire it up and head out... you know you are in something special.

Not sure what is going on with the white 6GT3 on autotrader but it started at $84,996, went to $89,996 and now it is at $94,996. Isn’t it supposed to go the other way and reduce price, not increase, if a car is not selling. 😂

Or maybe he just read the post here on the 15% increase in value recently... I guess there are not many for sale; especially in white.

I would do the same if I didn't want to sell it. Why would you after all?
That white car looks nice.

Maybe the owner's price at which he's willing to let it go is increasing as he's realizing what it would cost to replace it with anything that's even closely comparable, if such a thing even existed.

Looks like a very nice well maintained car. Lets hope he gets every dollar he's asking. Less and less of these cars around in original condition.
