its funny the narrative on the 997 thread is that there is no cars for sale, certainly none without ‘stories’ and nobody on here is selling or even thinking about it. Very few cars around

I think the 996 is an incredible bargain currently. I have a 997.2 and while it is incredible, is it worth double a well sorted 996? No, not really even though I love it (and am not selling!)
996/997 gt3/rs total cars on market went from 28…. 3 months ago to …. 43 now. Almost all the original 28 are still on market. Sellers holding firm and buyers not stretching to their asking prices

These will be interesting to follow over the next few weeks.

I tried showing these metrics at the dealer yesterday in my negotiations. The car is a 996 GT3 that was delivered new to PR. Rare spec, Basalt with PCCB. Sold on BaT in 2023 for 93k. Has no maintenance done since that sale and they’re asking 125. Coolant lines not pinned. Not nice, but not terrible condition. They said they took it on trade and are into it for roughly around what it sold for last time, lol

not that I’ve seen. It actually had a huge stack of records from PR, maintained by a reputable shop. It didn’t have an accident noted until very recently in the US.

Anyone know anything about the history or prior owners of the Slate Grey 2005 Gt3 at Porsche Monterrey?

It’s definitely overpriced for a 31k mile car, I think it will sit for a very long time like their red 8k mile car unless they reduce it big time.

Im trying to find out if its worth buying when they finally decide to reduce it….
