EVO Test of RS
If you have an RS on order get EVO this month.
Huge sigh of relief they give it the big Thumbs Up stating that it is a much more balanced and capable car.
I have spoken to the owner of the car, he also has a GT3, and has confirmed that it is much, much better than he was expecting.
Can't wait for the 20TH!!

I'm looking at the Dark Blue GT3 at Autobahn - but they say it had a track impact, right rear. New damper and track arm. I admire their honesty, but I'd rather have on ewith NO track incidents in the history.
I think I'll have a drive of the Speed Yellow at JCT (no-one can get near their finance quote) to see if I can see past the colour.

Mmm... If the Blue car is the one I am thinking of there is quite a lot of history attached to it. Might be worth contacting Gary on the GT3 register to confirm as he knows most of the cars in the Uk.
My original GT3 was Speed Yellow and I loved it. If you are a shy retiring Violet then this is not the colour for you though, you will get noticed!!
Did you manage to speak to Alan about the finance? Maybe I should give the Porsche guys a try if they have done you a good deal.
Look forward to hearing your first impressions on the GT3.

john,
speed yellow is great, i had some concern when i got my gt2 in SY after a seal one, but i love it. but gt2 abd gt3 look **** in SY and it's good for a 10% speed advantage [see threads proving this with folk science]..
SY fast as the sun!!!

Is it the atomic/molecular structure of the SY paint that gives it such an advantage for an undisturbed slip stream as compared to other paint formulations??? I thought so....

RS, can you please elaborate a little more what the article says, and maybe also what your friend told you.
Here in Italy Evo arrives very late and you can immagine the anticipation for us waiters...TIA

In a nut shell, like a GT3 only more so.
Spoke to the owner of the car and he is very happy with it. He already has a GT3 and had talked himself into beleiving that the RS was only going to be a"bit better"
He is completely blown away by it! The car is much better than he hoped for and is easier and more forgiving to drive. His only reservation is the longivity of the perspex rear screen.
Only another 13 days until I find out for myself!
Must remember to tip less....

Looking forward for the scan of the article, but what you are saying is already music to my ears!!!
