Default "Convert" US GT3 to Euro GT3 Club Sport specs

What are the exact differences? What parts do I need to make my GT3 into(when it arrives) a GT3 Club Sport? How much lighter is the Club Sport anyway? Thanks for any informative posts.

You will need to get some GT3 seats, the roll cage, the seat belts, and a fire system. I do not think the clubsport is lighter, just more equiped for the track. Try Gert at Carnewal, he has package pricing for all the parts plus the extras like the GT3 console delete.

I think the only thing that is missing from this package is the kill switch.

Gt3Nut: No, the Comfort and CS versions of the GT3 have the same gear ratios. Based on the only marginally different performance numbers for the GT3RS it shares the same gear ratios.

And to make it complete you also have to remove the rear speakers .

Well, if you really want to go that far, the Clubsport version comes with a lighter single mass flywheel.

Viken,

That was true for the Mk 1 GT3 CS but from what I understand from the UK-based GT3 Registry posts, the Mk 2 CS does not have a single mass flywheel.

The RS has a single-mass. Clubsport option appears to add 30-35kg to the base car. The RS is said to be 50kg lighter that the Clubsport, which brings it to 20kg below the base version. However Ulf says his car is lighter still. Another factor is US cars have smaller fuel tanks, which accounts for about 25kg at full fuel load. AC delete saves 20+kg, radio delete I don't know yet.

Hmm... That may be the case but the parts catalogue is showing a single mass flywheel even for the 2003-04 models. I cannot be sure.

RS does have a single mass flywheel, as well as CF hood, rear bumper, and acrylic rear window. This accounts for the less weight.

Can the radio be deleted on US cars ?

I did not see that in the order guide.
