Der neu GT3
Picked up the new GT3 last night. The difference in the sound and feel is night and day compared to my C2. The power is also awesome, though I am trying to keep it within the breakin limits. However, I did run it up to 6000rpm once and the sound and power is absolutely intoxicating... can not wait to have her broken in. I also had to take it easy on my 100 mile drive home as it was pi$$ing down rain the whole way. The interior is gorgous... very simple but a real step up from my 99 model. The speed yellow is gorgous... but I feel like I really stand out compared to Ocean Blue. The wheels look huge compared to the Carrera... very wide. IMO, the ride does not feel as rough as I was expecting, though I do feel like it follows the contours of the road a bit more than the ROW M030.
This is my first new Porsche and I am very pleased. I even look foreward to the Cosmoline drip... till I get it cleaned off that is. I got home to late to take photos, but those will follow shortly.
My only pet peeve... Does anybody have stickers on the back of their GT3 sport seats. There is one on each of mine saying not to allow pasengers to ride in the back. I want to peel them off, but they do not want to easily come off. Anybody know of a good way to remove them without damaging the black finish on the seats?
Intended mods... GT3 console delete, clear bra, and widow tint.

I have had no clearance issues, but I have not driven around town to much. I do take a different path home to avoid some speed bumps. The clearance seems to be the lowest at the front brake ducts... just have to be careful and plan on some strategic driving.

As much as I would like to be there, I will not be making it. I am getting married on the 21st of September and I do not think my fiance would appreciate my missing our date.

Between the weather and the breakin, it would be difficult to draw a conclusion at this time. The feeling of the clutch, shifter, and steering are about the same and the feeling of lightness and agility is even more present IMO. The GT3 engine seems to be a bit louder than the GT2, but the lack of turbos will do that. The engine power is instant while with the GT2 you can feel a bit of a delay while the turbos come up to speed.
Darren... photos will be taken and posted later on this eve. It was to dark for decent photos by the time I got through driving. Did I mention how bright the Speed Yellow is?

GT3 and Sloth sound quite contradictory. Congratulations!!! True poetry in motion...It is my "natural aspiration" to own one of those too...hopefully I can do something about it in a year or two once I scrape up some loose change for one. Enjoy it, there are many of us who want to live vicariously through you while you are driving that beast...
