Thx Dave!

I got in with Erik on another set of nt01, maybe I should get a set of the v710 too. Will need to research setup for them.

V710s understeer more compared to NT01s. You need to run rear bar one hole stiffer with them

Word is NT01s won't be out till the spring at the earliest. All 235/245/275/305/315s are out right now. Give V710s a try. Great tires but you'll get hooked on the grip..

Just to double check for v710, Keep my kassmaul setup and change the bar per your note?

Going from NT01 245/40/18 and 305/35/18 to V710 245/40/18 and 315/35/18, you will want to stiffen the rear bar 1 notch as the V710 set up understeers more compared to NT01s..

Gotcha yeah was thinking that too re camber.

Tirerack is basically out of v710's. You have a good source?

I have 3 sets of 245/40/18 and 315/35/18 V710s brand new in the wrappers. I wasn't planning on selling them but could let one or two sets go.

Could use some help here fellas,

PS2's in 315/30/18 are also a victim of the tire drought. tire rack is out and a few other places i've checked are $550+, so after some research I decided on NT01's. I miraculously sourced a set of NT01 rears in 315/30/18 but can't find 235/40/18 fronts.

Some places do carry 245/40/18, though.

My question to you is...can I run that combo (245/40f 315/30r) on track on a 996gt2 OEM rims without adverse handling etc.

Thanks!

Fawking Spring. Are you kidding?? I need 245 badly and 275 after my wife snuffs out her supply. I can run ventus TD on the M3 and maybe 888 on the GT3. This sucks.

If you can miraculously find 245s, get them now without delay. They are worth gold right now. They've been out of stock for close to 2 months. Many places still advertise them but don't have them. With that said, 245/40 and 305/35 NT01 is a better set up on the 6GT2. Many 6GT2/3 track rats are swithing to this combo. I've run both the 305 and 315 and find the taller 305 superior on all fronts. Good luck..

Thanks for the reply. I've found 245/40's ready to be shipped but like you said, factory rec 235/40 and 245/35 are out of stock.

If I go forward with them, my setup will be 245/40 315/30 (a combo I haven't seen much of with an 8.5" front while researching).

Cheers
