I run kuhmos 30/32 hot and pass Burke all day long
Might try a lil lower pressures.

Thanks for all the info. Hoosier says to run them at 36 38 for better wear. I've been running them at 32 34 since they tend to die off long before I cord them.

I've asked Santa for a set of Kumho's for Christmas in preparation for Winterfest.

Maybe that is a tire you should start testing so we know what to buy in 2014 when we run out of Toyo's.

Cheater central! Randy better be doing 2:18's or better at Winter Fest.

I run 275/315 for 6 years....fantastic tires: Not tempremental, not too expensive, great availability, not hyper sensitive to pressures and cording like the Hoosiers and MPSC tires.

I've started doing the math... It might actually be cheaper for me to buy a used .2RS and tap into Izzone's Toyo stash, than to continue down my current road running hoosiers You have no idea how frustrating it is to struggle finding a decent DE tire when you two knuckleheads have an almost endless supply of the most reasonably priced best DE tires ever....

I'm really surprised there aren't more people running the kumho's in the .1 crowd. I've heard nothing but good things about the grip and wear, and the prices are on par with similar R compound tires (R888, etc).

Why do you think I sold my 997.1 for a WB car?

Do you think there is any value in the tire rack "heat cycling"? Bob Woodman says no.

I've been told by various people that the Tire Rack heat cycle doesn't really fully heat cycle the tire. You really need to run about 4-5 hot laps at Sebring and then take them off and let them sit for a week.
