Love my custom-built exhaust by Charles Dundon of Seattle. massive weight savings, great performance, great sound on track, makes me drive slower in town to keep the sound down. Everyone loves the sound this exhaust makes, except the neighbors when i leave for the track at 6am.

+1. Charles ss exhaust. I do push the car down the driveway not to wake up the toddlers. Fortunately only drive it on street on occasion.

Best track exhaust I have heard on 6-3. No CEL. 80 lbs off rear of car. But too loud if you mostly street the car.

What gauge is that material? What's the cost?

Not sure about gauge, just that it is 321 stainless. As for cost please contact Charles at charles.dundon@gmail.com as I went in with five other people and received a group discount.

High quality, very light, great sound and passes noise limits on local tracks (100dB static at 0,5m, 4500RPM).

This is the information I got from cargraphic:

With a good ECU mapping it delivers the goods as well, this is on the Euro mk1:

I drive also the Cargraphic Sportscup/DMSB Exhaust.
The Sound is very good and not too loud!

Do you know if any of the 5 had performed independant dyno numbers for both hp and tq compared to OEM?

In all honesty, it does force you to short shift and drive a little slower in town, which isn't all a bad thing. As I mostly drive my car on the track, I miss that sound and can't wait to get back to the track so I can hear that sound again.

Power wise my car gained about the same as this car. As long as I have a 6GT3, I will have this exhaust on the car.

Ex. One of my last track days, there was a 997.1 GT3 RS running in my group. I caught up to him just before the straight at TWS(long fast straight). I expected the RS. To pull me down the straight but surprisingly, it did not gain any ground down the straight, in fact I gained about 1 car length by the end of the straight. We started the straight I was about 10 car lengths back, by the end I was 9 car lengths.

I can honestly say that my 6GT3 has a different sounds than any other GT3 out at the track events I participate in.

4porsch. By the way, thanks for putting me on to the exhaust buy way back then. I don't think I ever thanked you.

Appreciate that Stephen. Charles is the one who should get all the thanks as he is the one with the knowledge and all the hard work it takes to build these exhaust.

Rovman, any chance you will be at TWS/COTA Feb 6,7,8,9? I'm thinking about having Charles build an exhaust for my 997.2 GT3 and I'm trying to get a handle on how loud it will be. I understand the quality of there sound is nice, just don't want it to be so loud that I can't street drive occasionally. Thanks

Yes I will. I won't be at TWS but I will be at COTA for the 3 days. Can't wait. Will be happy to show u the exhaust and let you listen to it.

I do use my car on the street, in fact I will be driving it to the track, but I don't put that many street miles on her these days. The exhaust is bearable below 4000 RPM but above 4000 it starts to get pretty loud for a street exhaust. Sounds amazing!!!
