I found they seemed to wear down faster towards the last 30% of pad life.

Do you find that to be the case?

I took a set of RS29's off the front of mine (that the previous owner fitted) and they were worn very close to the backing.

It happened to me 3 times. Maybe I'm not bedding them correctly -- which is also a nice benefit of PFC's. No bedding needed. Install and go.

I have been running Pagid RS29s up front, and RS14s in the rear - ever since I bought the car in 2006. That was the preference of choice on this board until the '08 time frame, at which point many went over the PFCs.

I like the modulation with the Castrol SRF, so no need to change a good thing!

Yes. My Pagids lasted a long time overall, but the last 30% went fast. Will be switching over to PFC 08F/01R for the next set

Thanks - I will give them a try.

08's for now- I hear good things about Endless. I'm using their fluid - prefer it to Motul.

Absolutely brilliant combination. Don't know how anyone would need anything different.
They do produce dust, but wear fantastically well.
Why are so many people running and preferring the PFC08 these days? Just a fashion thing?
Jack
Jack try running RS29's front and rear. I ran 14's in the rear until I tried the 29's...

PFC rotors & pads. PFC 01 & PFC 08... No bedding... I use the Brembo LCF600 fluid which has as high a wet boiling point as I have found - except for the Ca$trol...

PF 08 at all 4. Initial bite takes a bit of getting used to when coming from the Pagid 29, but once you do, it's very comforting.

Don't know whether it's true or not that the PF don't need bedding and that they are good to the last drop v the Pagids, but I use them that way, and am very happy about it.

Bedding pads on the road is asking for trouble.
