FVD. Quality is not the best, I have one on my car and it's not horrible but could be better. Nothing a little silicone doesn't fix to make sure it's sealed tight to the lid.

I boldy ordered one from Ebay Germany... after several months of sitting in the garage, it is so imperfect that I'm still wondering if it is for a 996 GT3 decklid at all.
Lesson... buy from a reliable source.
Would be interesting to know if Revozport is one of them.

FWIW, I ordered a ram air intake for a 996 cup decklid from Revozport last year, but what I got was a ram air intake for a 996 GT3 decklid. The quality was actually pretty good. Maybe Francois can chime in re the quality as it is installed on his car now. Not sure if Revozport actually has a ram air intake for a 996 cup decklid despite what their website says. And no idea if they are still in business or not.

I have a Manthey cf unit on my car, painted to match. Excellent fit, attached with 3M VHB double-sided tape. I'd check Gert for availability.
(ed: my mistake. I have one for a GT3, not a Cup.)

Ken Cheung was also the guy that I communicated with re my order. I was very clear (in writing multiple times) that I was looking for the ram air intake for the 996 cup decklid vs the street GT3 decklid, and I was assured each time that this was no problem as they had both. Ultimately got the intake for the street 3 and when I tried to contact them to address the matter, the communications went silent. At least the quality was reasonable. I know others have had better experiences with Revozport. YMMV.

Worst case Glen, if they sell you the street version by mistake, there is a huge market for you to sell it to.

As an additional data point, I purchased the FVD part and fitment was terrible. The shape of the scoop did not match the deck lid at all. Fortunately, I have an excellent body shop (Jack at Eurpros Collision Center) and he turned it into a work of art. But the amount of labor required to make it look good is ridiculous and the cost will be way more than the part itself.
See here for pictures of the end result:

In conclusion, I don't recommend the FVD part unless you have a really good relationship with a masterful body shop mechanic who is willing to do you a huge favor.
