How do you establish the exact location for attachment? Does the curve of the piece essentially set it, that is, it only fits in one location?

That is basically how I located the ones you can see in the picture below. You get a "feel" for where they belong. In aerodynamics, it has to look good to work... short of having access to a wind tunnel.

I'm sure Joe can provide some reference measurements - such as distance below horizontal bumper seam and distance in front of wheel wheel to the top edge of each dive plane, and similar reference measurements for the bottom edge of the dive planes. As FFaust has mentioned though, it's fairly clear where they fit once you line it up to the bumper, as each one is molded to fit flush in one specific orientation.

Just received two fiberglass splitters and set of dive planes from Joe. Great transaction and good attention to detail as they look like very nice pieces. Cant wait till the spring thaw so I can install them on my 6GT3 before track season.

The carbon fiber dive planes are finally ready to go. It took a while to get the infusion process worked out. I will try and post pics soon. exactly the same as the fiberglass other than they look really pretty and are lighter.

Don't think they will fit a MK1, the bumpers are different.
