I have the GMG WC Mufflers. They have a nice deep rumble on idle and start up and driving at street speeds and scream at the top end. They are loud but don't think they're 103db.The build quality and hardware are outstanding. I didn't weigh them but a lot lighter than stock. I didn't didn't make a sound clip. If you only want mufflers with stock cats check them out.

We have a few options for the 996 GT3...

Option #1: Full System - High Flow Cats w/ X-Pipe & In-Line Mufflers - approx. 50 Lbs. weight reduction installed / lower center of gravity

Option #2: GT3 Mufflers Only (used w/ existing OEM cat pipes and OEM Tips). Direct replacement muffler for OEM muffler. Straight thru design, sport sound.

Option #3: SpeedTech X-Pipe with Hi-Flow catalytic converters (used w/ existing OEM muffler or SpeedTech GT3 OEM replacement mufflers pictured above)

I have the Cargraphic units (mufflers only), and highly recommend them. I had 3 local GT3 owners check them out, fit, finish, and sound. 2 of 3 bought them.

Sound much better than stock, especially at WOT, and, a big plus, quieter at cruise than stock, absolutely no drone.

If you plan on tracking in Portland be careful.. they have a roving DB monitor both front and back straight. I had Fabspeed headers, cans, and sport cats. Loved it and the service was great. All are good it is what you can get for the price you want.

We have 3 tip options for this exhaust.

1) A simple raw pipe outlet for light weight

2) Turn down tips for the track (used with tip option #1)

3) The polished slash cut tip pictured above - here is another view - it actually looks very nice on the car...

Too much of a rumble for me on GMG (based on the few clips I listened to)

Leaning towards Cargraphic Export Sound. However, having trouble finding a supplier. Sent one email to a supplier who said they no longer carry them. Talked with another supplier (Seattle area) and said he is having trouble getting a response from cargraphic

Thanks for the tip, but I have no plans to track at this time

Hi,
here a link from a Cargraphic Super Sound Exhaust. The Sound ist very nice.

Here the Sound of my Exhaust.
Use the Link DW9670 -> http://www.dw-technik.de/4_sound.php

Here a pic of my Exhaust. The weight of the mufflers are ~ 15kg

Greets Ben.

Ps. I´m also interested at the Speedtech Exhaut. How loud is this Exhaust.
M-M says to me there Exhaust has 130db!
This is to loud in Germany.

We measured 89-91 db at 50' / 3500-4000 RPM's. Additionally, we offer turn down tips for the track that can be angled in any direction to further reduce the volume.

I like it! I am primarily after weight savings but if you can also get a more free flowing exhaust and better sound over stock that's a nice bonus.
Your system appears to have all that and is in my price range.

Hi Cavlino,

We also offer a Rennlist member discount - PM me if you are interested...

Thanks, yes, we designed it with all of the attributes in mind that would enhance the GT3, i.e. lightweight, better flowing, improved sound, lower CG than OEM, etc.
