Anyone have issues with cracking of Girodisc 350mm rotors?

So Mike, you are running these Coleman rotors w/ the Giro carriers?

I'm not running anything on the GT3 now. This was a year ago on my 996TT. I had custom hats that coleman made outer friction surfaces to work with. They can do the same for the Giro hats.

I see. So you sent them the rotor and they custom make one that has the same mounting points to the carrier.

That is correct. They will even replicate your current hats, from any maker, and allow you to choose floating or non-floating. According to Larry, anyway. I haven't dealt with them much since 2009, but will ping them when the Zcar needs a replacement for the existing wilwood stuff.

CFJan, they've had guys send them OEM rotors and had them duplicate those measurements in any configuration the customer wants. Here's the other thing, these guys at Coleman support a wide range of racing platforms from Porsches to Dirt track, Open wheel to Nascar. They do it all and for some fairly big names.

To the OP, looks like they served you very well. I ditched my first front set after 50+ sessions. Rears are still going strong with 06s originally, now 01s; still no drama. I am braking less as well.

Still amazed with the ability of this set up; 06 F 01 R, Girodiscs, SRF, cup ducts

I must admit, I don't know much of anything "for a fact", but this is what I have heard from more than just one source. In any event, I am interested in finding out about the newest offering (availability, improvements, etc,)

I need new fronts, and I have a set of DeMans on hand, but would rather change to Giros if available before next March.
