Finally got mine in this evening:
For those ordering in the USA, you will have to pay "brokerage" fees as well as the shipping. I got a call from FEDEX last week and had to pony up an additional $52. Just a heads up, but total shipping cost me about $140 for the pair.

Ian, Jeff, this is what you have to get Joe to work on. From here https://rennlist.com/forums/10050435-post36.html
Looks pretty simple, doesn't it.

Gentlemen, For those of you who purchased a splitter or splitters and had to pay brokerage fees I am SORRY. This should not have happened. I will use UPS in the future. In addition if you order again I will reduce the total amount by the brokerage charges you had to pay. Sorry for the hassle but I will make good on the extra charges you were not expecting.
Sorry,
Joe

Hey Joe - ship Canada Post if you can. It will get delivered via US Postal Service, and your customers won't pay any brokerage fees.
I've been dealing with paying brokerage fees for things shipped up from the US for so many years, I'm surprised so many of our US cousins don't know anything about brokerage fees.

Joe, I appreciate the fact that you care and "Will make it up to me" if I order again (and I likely will because of this very jesture) but I honestly don't hold you responsible for the cost of the brokerage fees. I didn't know, and I don't expect that you did either. Was just a little bit of a surpise is all.
Thanks and I'll chat with you when these two are eaten up.

Thanks for the gesture, much appreciated but as someone mentioned earlier, the fee is not your fault or your doing.
I probably will order one or two more at a later date but I do not expect the charge reciprocation. Really happy with your product by the way, I can't wait to put it to use on the track.
Kind Regards,
