Yup... I've been chatting him up and am paypaling him today for the total with shipping for def. one and possibly two, once I hear back from him.

I could see him selling between 50-100 of these.

We estimated about $90 to get them to me in Va. He's on the west coast.

FYI - I stuck mine on using Lepage "No More Nails" double sided tape, and a couple strips of electrical tape along the seam. Very good bond. I think the only way it'll be popping off is if I hit something hard, in which case the fg would probably crack anyways. That's why I bought two!

I'll take one too if you want to ship them together to save shipping. Shouldn't cost any more to send 2-3 vs. just 1.

guys I sell fiberglass splitters for the Lotus owners and it is pretty durable within reason. If this splitter is designed to put down additional downforce like the Lotus ones are, I would strongly suggest NOT using doublesided adhesive. I would secure it using bolts.

I have seen people complaining about losing these on the highway from the downforce and ripping part of their front clam with the splitter. you guys obviously wont have that issue since the bumper is polyurethene but you would lose the splitter.

If you guys want to see the stuff I sell for the lotus owners heres the facebook page.

Pretty sure by the looks of it he's using the OEM fasteners too, there appear to be mounting holes drilled in the new lip to accomodate them. Stock fasteners alone won't keep it put though, at least they won't keep the cup lip, need to use them PLUS double sided tape AND either a bead of silicone at the mating edge or other tape as described above. All 3 in combination are required to keep them from coming off at speed.

This piece is really tempting for me, I've been thinking about a custom splitter DIY this winter for my car, something very small and subtle with maybe an additional 1.5" of extension beyond the cup piece, maybe a touch more agressive than this particular one but nothing outrageous. Having this one readily available might just make that decision easier on me.

My biggest concern is durability, my stock spliter already scraps my driveway pulling in and out no matter what I do I'm a little worried the first time I whack this thing it's going to come apart in a million pieces.

When i had a fiberglass splitter on my lotus, after a few times scraping on the driveway you will able to see fibers. bolts and adhesive will be the best route to take when mounting.

What the Lotus guys now do is take black rubber moulding and put it around the front of the splitter. This seems to be working very well for them.
