About 30k miles on my OE wing, not a problem. Had a minor rock chip on an edge. Fixed it with a drop of clearcoat and Langka.

Francois refurbished my old RS wing that got damaged in one of the side plate . Perhaps he can chime in with a few aeronautical engineering tricks.

Dealing with the outer clear layer in a carbon fibre part is not very different from any other painted surface, if only for the extra precaution of making sure not to damage the inner layer (in this case the carbon itself) in the process.

Dropped off the end plate at one of our suppliers, who had it done in no time. They had to repair the damage first. Simple sand and respray I guess.

That end plate looks perfect, but now the other one needs to be refinished due to erosion of the top coat on the leading edge.
