I am what Mooty calls the "Newbie buyer" and I probably paid too much for my Lapis beast but the 4.0 r&p, Motons, LWFW and other suspension goodies is what got me excited. Sure i could have paid $50 something but it would have cost me WAY more than I paid to get her where she is. I'm happy. Seems that this car is worth at least $55 or maybe I am trying to justify paying more

The car is worth whatever a willing buyer will spend. It sounds like a great example, and a year of CPO coverage brings substantial peace of mind. Having purchased mine 16 months ago (after two years of looking) I keep a pretty close watch on want ads and dealer inventories of these increasingly rare cars. I believe a fair retail price is $56K. No you're not, and no you didn't

You got a heck of a car, and with the right stuff for someone planning to track this car. There is real value in those mods, just not for the wrong buyer.

And that colour

6 is new to you
but you are no newbie, afterall you have a clubsport!!!
the car u bought has lots of tasty stuff on it. it' s not a normal 6.
in fact, if it was white, i would have stole it form you, i knew it's for sale before it was posted and would have out bid u on it.

unfortunate, i HATE blue, unless it's smurf blue

. Yep, she is a fast one for sure. That said, I need a tranny drop, clutch is doing some funky **** to me. When not running I can select any gear I want. Turn her on and I cannot select any gear (unless i rev match) or change up/down. Hope to figure it our before the next event.

I think clutch since I can shift through all of the gears when the motor is not running. Once the motor is running, I cannot select a gear or change between them. There was no slippage so it is not a plate issue......maybe pressure plate or throw out. Time will tell.
