What pressure did you start them out at Franc? If you saw my Kuhmos post a few months back we had blisters formed on sidewall from starting out the tires ie prewarm up - at too low a pressure, which we do with Dunlop and Michelin, but the Kuhmos sidewalls were compromised in those first few (hard) warm up laps and ended up blistering - I think 4 tires in one session on 4 cars - later. Now we start them harder, come in sooner and deflate a bit so we never drop down to 1.6 bar anymore with those - maybe something like that?

I was at the Glen last weekend and there was a Khumo that started to delaminate as in the picture. Heard from another club member that it also had happened to him. Seems to be a common failure. I believe 2nd member got some monetary compensation from Khumo.

I remember reading about delam issues when starting pressures are set too low, but IIRC it was for slicks. Perhaps call Nitto and see what kind of response you get; they are pretty responsive to the few emails I've sent. Many running them here, but this is the first I've heard of such an issue. GL and keep us posted.

Any of the Mich PSS 18" combos below will work ABS wise and can be made to work using sway bars. My attempt below to 'classify' the setups.
1) 225/40, 285/35 (street setup)
2) 235/40, 285/35 (street / track)
3) 245/35, 285/35 (track / street)
4) 255/35, 285/35 (track)
5) 265/35, 285/35 (autocross)

2) 235/40, 285/35 (street / track)

4) 255/35, 285/35 (track)
